Tao Yang, General Manager of CITIC Construction, was elected Vice Chairman of China International Contractors Association

On August 26, China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) held the 8th member congress and the first plenary meeting of the 8th council by combining online and offline. Fang Qiuchen, Chairman of CHINCA, and other leaders of permanent bodies of the 7th council and representatives of 460 members attended the meeting. Lv Xiaoli, Deputy Director of the Social Organization Administration of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the P.R.C., and Liu Minqiang, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C., attended the meeting and made a speech. Lou Huafeng, Deputy Director of the Party Construction Department of the Trade Association Chambers of Commerce of the Central and State Organs' Working Committees, read out the Notice on the Candidates for the Eighth Council of China International Contractors Association. Tao Yang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CITIC Construction, attended the meeting.

The general meeting deliberated and adopted five documents, including the Work Report of the Seventh Council of China International Contractors Association and the Articles of Association of China International Contractors Association, and elected 184 enterprises and 5 members of the Board of Supervisors of the Eighth Council. The first session of the 8th council deliberated and adopted 9 documents, including the Measures for the Administration of Membership of China International Contractors Association and the Measures for the Administration of Branches and Representative Offices of China International Contractors Association; Fang Qiuchen, the current chairman, was elected as the chairman of the CHINCA 8th council; 38 vice chairmen and the Secretary General of the eighth session were elected. Chairman Fang Qiuchen presented plaques and certificates to the newly elected vice chairmen of the CHINCA 8th council, honorary vice chairmen and supervisor representatives. All participants unanimously affirmed the conference report and the work of the CHINCA.

Tao Yang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CITIC Construction, was elected as the vice chairman of the CHINCA 8th council, on behalf of the standing organization of the CHINCA, submitted the report of the Guidelines on Social Responsibility of China International Contractors Association (version 2.0) to the council for review.
